The Department of Physics at the University of Central Florida invites applications for a lecturer position to teach both algebra-based and calculus-based introductory physics courses starting in Fall 2011. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in physics or a closely related field from an accredited institution, have notable experience teaching one or more introductory physics courses, be accustomed to using multimedia teaching aids, and be interested in outreach activities with the goal of recruiting students into STEM areas. Responsibilities of this position include the training of Graduate Teaching Assistants for laboratory and studio teaching.
