The University of British Columbia invites applications for a full-time Lecturer position in the Department of Physics & Astronomy on the Vancouver campus. Such positions typically involve teaching the equivalent of five undergraduate courses per year and some administrative duties, and have expectations of renewal upon satisfactory performance. The Department will consider applicants with experience teaching in a post-secondary setting. A PhD in Physics, Astronomy, or a related field is strongly preferred, although exceptional candidates with an MSc may be considered. These positions will be supported by and encouraged to contribute to the department’s initiatives in Discipline Based Education Research.
