[editor note: The posting is not especially clear, so I will summarize. NCSU is hiring 3 tenure-track DBER faculty who will be based in one of the six departments (physics, etc) and will primarily engage in developing interdisciplinary programs, scholarship, and outreach. The hiring will take place at the level of the college of science, and the expectation is to create a team of scholars who are comfortable working between departments and within the auspices of a planned interdisciplinary science initiative and new law building. The physics department has a long record of support for PER: the head of physics may be able to better contextualize this position if you reach out directly.]
