Instructor at Northwestern State Univ.

Northwestern State University of Louisiana invites applications for a full-time Physics Instructor beginning as early as fall 2009.

QUALIFICATIONS: M.S. or Ph.D. degree required with strong aptitude for teaching introductory courses. Preference will be given to those with graduate coursework and teaching experience in physics, but experience in related fields will also be considered.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include teaching physics and physical science courses and labs, advising students, involving undergraduates in research and performing service for the Department and University. Many of our students are actively involved in undergraduate research through our JOVE scholarship program.
