The Department of Physics (http://physics.nebrwesleyan.edu) at Nebraska Wesleyan University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position starting fall 2010. A Ph.D. or the equivalent in physics is required. Applicants must be committed to excellence in teaching in a liberal arts environment, both within the physics major and within the University's General Educations curriculum. While applications from either experimental or theoretical physicists are welcome, the position will require teaching both lecture and laboratory courses across the undergraduate physics curriculum. The successful candidate is expected to engage in appropriate research and scholarship that includes the participation of undergraduate students.
