Arkansas Tech University, an undergraduate, state-supported institution of ~8,800 students, seeks applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin August 2010. Candidates must hold a PhD in physics or closely related field. Teaching duties are 12 credit hours/semester (undergraduate physics, general education physical science and laboratories as directed) in addition to other duties as assigned. Teaching experience and experimental research background is a plus.
