VAP (2) at Arkansas State Univ.

In support of this commitment, the Department of Chemistry and Physics at Arkansas State University seeks two outstanding candidates for Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics positions beginning August 16, 2010. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience. A Master’s degree in Physics or a related field is required, while a Ph.D. is preferred. The persons in these positions will teach 1-3 lower-division physics courses, with the possibility of teaching upper-division courses based upon experience and area of specialization. The successful candidates will be expected take part in the ongoing assessment of our curriculum. The positions will be for a minimum of one year, with the possibility of a second year or a transition to a tenure-track line.
