The Jackson County Campus of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Gautier, MS, invites applicants to apply for a full-time Physics Instructor position. The start date is August 2017. MANDATORY: (M1) Master’s degree in Physics or Master’s degree with a minimum of eighteen graduate semester hours in physics from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning. (M2) Teaching experience. (M3) Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. (M4) Familiarity with Internet, email, and word processing functions.
PREFERRED: (D1) Master’s degree or higher in Physics. (D2) Experience in teaching at the community college and/or college-level. (D3) Multi-media instructional delivery experience. (D4) Functional knowledge of online teaching.
