Applications are now being accepted for a postdoctoral position on Professional Development of Emerging Education Researchers (PEER) with Scott Franklin. Funded by the National Science Foundation, PEER conducts workshops and field schools for emerging education researchers. The postdoctoral researcher will join a project that studies the sustained impact of PEER activities on participant's formation of researcher identify and subsequent research output. The research is primarily phenomenographic, with individual and focus-group interviews of participants combined with observations of field schools and workshops. The postdoc will also have an opportunity, if desired, to engage in curriculum development and presentation of PEER modules at schools around then country. Opportunities to teach disciplinary classes also exist, subject to postdoc interest.
