Postdoc/Assistant/associate professor position in physics education research at China's Guangzhou University
Guangzhou University Department of Physics seeks to hire a full-time postdoc assistant/associate professor beginning Fall Semester 2023 for a period of 3 or 6 years, with high potential for continuing appointment based on mutual satisfaction.

Duties
The primary duties of the position are conducting research in physics education (70%) and lecturing (30%).
Qualification
The successful candidate will have a PhD in physics, educational technology, physics education, science education, engineering education or related field, with a number of publications in those fields. Good oral and written communication skills in English are strongly valued. Postdoc experiences for appointment of assistant professor are valued but not required.
Salary and living cost
AFTER Tax salary is within the range of $54,000--$66,000 (or EUR 52,000--61,000) per annum. Rent is relatively low with two bedroom apartments costing about $600 per month. The university canteen offers meals costing about $2 each.
