Your Responsibilities
- Independent research-, publication- and lecturing activities in Physics and Science Education Research
- Participation in current research tasks and projects and development of new research projects in the field of Physics and Science Education Research (e.g. Design-Based Research in teacher professionalization, further development of school internships and transfer to schools)
- Independent conducting of lectures in Physics Teacher Education / Didactics of Physics
- Cooperation in interdisciplinary (STEM) school projects (e.g. (further) development of teaching-learning labs)
- Participation in teaching, organisational and administrative tasks
- Providing technical and organisatorical assistance to teacher students of physics
Your Profile
- Master Level Degree for Teaching Physics or Science and appropriate Doctorate/PhD
- Publication, research and lecturing activities in the field of Physics Education Research/ empirical Physics Didactics or Science Education Research/ empirical Science Didactics
- Confidence in undertaking qualitative and quantitative research
- University teaching experience in the field of physics didactics or physics teacher education
- Experience in the field of STEM and/or digital Media in education (desirable)
- Teaching experience in Physics at secondary level (desirable)
- Profound knowledge of German and English
- Analytical-systematizing and communicative skills
- Independent working method
- High personal motivation for scientific excellence
The personnel structure planning of the Faculty of Natural Sciences envisages a permanent strengthening of physics didactics and in the course of this - with correspondingly outstanding professional development - the medium-term creation of a permanent academic position in this area in compliance with the legal obligation to advertise.
We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 60,926.60 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
