Two TTs at St. Mary's University (Texas)


The Department of Physics and Earth Sciences at St. Mary’s University invites applications for two tenure-track positions in Physics at the Assistant Professor level beginning Fall 2013.  A Ph.D. in Physics, Applied Physics, or Astronomy is required at the time of appointment. Teaching experience and evidence of quality research involving undergraduates is strongly preferred.  Responsibilities include teaching introductory and advanced physics, developing new courses for the Physics program, and participating in university service activities.  The Department of Physics and Earth Sciences offers B.A. and B.S. degrees in Physics, and Environmental Science, and B.S. degrees in Physics with a Biophysics Option and Applied Physics.  Our department is committed to excellence in teaching and scholarship.
