The Department of Education, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel, invites applications for tenure-track positions (open-rank).
The department includes undergraduate and graduate programs with an emphasis on diversity and (multi)cultural contexts. The department's graduate programs encompass the following areas:
* School psychology.
* Educational counseling.
* Learning, instruction, technology, innovation, and foundations in education.
* Sociology, policy, administration and evaluation in education.
Applicants specializing in one of the above and other related areas are encouraged to apply. A perspective that can span more than one area and the capacity to work in an interdisciplinary environment is an advantage.
Applicants must have earned a Ph.D. and are expected to show a strong research program and commitment to excellence in teaching and service. The successful candidates will need to be able to: 1) maintain a productive research program; 2) teach
undergraduate and graduate courses (ability to teach in Hebrew is required); 3) supervise the theses and dissertations of graduate students; 4) perform departmental service.
