The Department of Physics invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or above (depending on qualifications). The successful candidate will be expected to teach at all levels in the physics major curriculum and contribute to general education course offerings. Other responsibilities include maintaining an active professional development program including research with undergraduate students.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Physics and a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and undergraduate research. Tenure-track position, rank dependent on qualifications and experience. Position available August 2009.
