VAP at Case Western

The Department of Physics at Case Western Reserve University invites applications for up to two Visiting Assistant Professor Positions starting in academic year 2009-2010 with the possibility for continuation for two additional years.

Candidates are required to have a Ph.D. in physics or astronomy or equivalent and be committed to excellence in teaching and research. The teaching load will allow ample time for research, with the opportunity to collaborate with any of our active research programs. Successful candidates may be in any field of physics in which the department is currently active, including theoretical, computational and experimental condensed matter physics, particle/astrophysics and cosmology, and imaging physics.
