Postdoc at University of Pittsburgh

U Pitt is looking for a postdoc to do Physics Education Research starting
Summer or Fall 2009. We are especially interested in someone who will
focus on improving learning in the upper-level courses. Examples of
responsibilities include investigations of difficulties via interviews
and surveys, exploiting learning theory to develop and evaluate
research based tools and dissemination of results via publications and
presentations. We strongly encourage that women and others from
underrepresented groups apply. A Ph.D. in physics or related field is
required. The position is for one year but can be extended based upon
mutual agreement and if additional funding becomes available.
