TT at Bloomsburg Univ.

The Department of Physics and Engineering Technology at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level, starting August 2009. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Minimum requirements include a Ph.D. in physics or closely related field. Physicists from all sub-disciplines are encouraged to apply. Commitment to innovative, quality undergraduate instruction is essential. Teaching assignments may include general physics, physical science, AUTOCAD, and other physics courses. College teaching experience will be an advantage. The successful candidate must be prepared to initiate independent research. Preference will be given to applicants with research interest in Environmental Physics or Sustainable Energy. The department offers undergraduate degrees in physics, health physics, and electronics engineering technology.
