Faculty Position at Grove City College


Astronomy/Astrophysics Position - Grove City College announces a faculty opening in the Department Physics beginning in July 2013.  A Ph.D. in Physics or Astronomy is required.  Responsibilities include teaching Astronomy, introductory physics classes, experience with robotic telescope instrumentation, and an ability to supervise meaningful undergraduate research.  Our observational facilities include an on-campus and a remote observatory. Successful candidates must be able to effectively communicate theory in the classroom as well as develop innovative lab and project experiences.


Candidates must evidence a strong record of classroom teaching, scholarship within their field, and a commitment to instructing highly motivated students. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications.
