Undergrad Summer Research at Florida International

The Physics Education Research Group at Florida International University (
perg.fiu.edu) is pleased to announce an opportunity for an undergraduate
research internship. The internship is an opportunity for undergraduate
physics or science education majors to participate in research in physics
education. The research intern will help in the compilation and analysis of
data, and will participate in generation of research presentations and
manuscripts. The 8 week internship (6/1/09-7/24/09) includes a stipend of
$4,000 + housing + 1 roundtrip airfare to FIU. The intern may also be
involved in writing a short paper on the results from this endeavor. The
applicant should be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in physics or
