Teaching fellowship at University College London

The department invites applications for the position of Teaching Fellow in Physics and Astronomy. The main purpose of this role is undergraduate teaching. Duties would include problem-solving tutorials, laboratory/practical demonstrating, computing tuition and feedback on communications skills assignments, as well as supervision of project work. The post-holder would additionally support some administrative teaching tasks.

The position is funded, by Prof Ofer Lahav's Leverhulme Senior Fellowship and Dr Sarah Bridle's ERC grant, for two years in the first instance. The successful candidate will have a postgraduate degree in Physics or closely related subject, preferably with a background in Astrophysics or Cosmology. Proven ability to teach a variety of subjects in the areas of Physics and Astronomy is essential.
