Lecturer an University of Waterloo
The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Waterloo, invites applicants for one definite term Lecturer position invites applicants for one definite term Lecturer position to begin on September 1, 2012 or January 1, 2013. The initial appointment will be for three years with the possibility of renewal for an addition two or three years; plus the possibility of becoming an ongoing continuing lecturer appointment in the future. Applicants should have a MSc or PhD in Physics and must have an excellent track record in teaching physics at the University level. Duties range from instructing upper year physics courses to instructing first year physics classes for science, engineering and mathematics students for all three academic terms, as well as assisting in the development of undergraduate laboratories and academic counselling of science students. The salary range will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Candidates should submit by regular mail a curriculum vitae and a statement of their teaching goals.
