|Preferred Qualifications||-Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level;
-Record of designing curriculum,developing courses, and establishing new laboratory activities;
-Strong research skills;
-Record of sponsored scholarship;
-Related professional experience outside academia.
|Job Specific Required Qualifications||-Earned PhD in Physics, Acoustics, or a closely related field from an accredited institution;
-Ability to teach a wide range of undergraduate lecture and laboratory courses in physics;
-Record of scholarly achievement and evidence of potential for future achievement commensurate with the rank of Assistant Professor;
-Demonstrated written and oral communication skills in the English language;
-Ability and desire to contribute through department, university, community and professional service work;
-Ability to strengthen the Acoustics minor.

Also, it is expected that faculty involves students in research projects, publish their research and scholarship work in peer reviewed journals, as well as presentations in conferences.|
