The Virgin Islands Institute for STEM Education Research and Practice (VI-ISERP) at the University of the Virgin Islands seeks applicants for a two-year postdoctoral position in STEM education research (biology, chemistry, mathematics, physics) starting in Fall 2016. The successful candidate will conduct research on teaching and learning in STEM education and teach introductory-level courses each semester. The fellow will also contribute to curriculum development and design, initiate and/or manage grant proposals for external funding in STEM reform, and complete other relevant projects.
Required qualifications: Ph.D. in science, science education, or a related field; have a strong research record in discipline-based STEM education research.
