The postdoc will have opportunities to collaborate with a diverse network of faculty, postdocs, and graduate students—locally through the UW DBER community and nationally through participation in meetings such as the Society for the Advancement of Biology Education Research (SABER).

·         quantitative analysis
·         assistance with the bi-weekly faculty development meetings of the CAUSE fellows
·         project logistics
·         training and mentoring undergraduate research assistants
·         creating annual reports for each CAUSE fellow with a summary of PORTAAL scores, Bloom scores and observed achievement gaps in exam performance
·         being lead author on research publications and meeting presentations

The position is full-time (100% FTE) 12-month appointment with a salary of $47,484, including benefits (Research Associate, UW Job Code 0148). The position is intended to be a two or three-year position, contingent upon satisfactory performance, available funding and university policies.
