Examples of Duties:
1. Teach physics courses, ranging from preparatory physics, technical physics, conceptual physics, to university level freshmen/sophomore courses.
2. Teach preparatory courses specifically designed to enhance the transition from high school to the beginning college level.
3. Teach conceptual based courses aimed at an audience with little background in quantitative analysis.
4. Teach laboratory courses; this would also include proper care and use of laboratory equipment.
5. Serve on departmental and college committees such as staff meetings, committee work, faculty evaluations, and others, as needed for the proper functioning of the department and the college.
6. Contribute to the improvement of existing courses and to the development of new courses as needed.
7. Teach day, evening, and/or Saturday classes.
8. Teach classes at one or more sites as required.
9. Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
