The Department of Physics at Elon University seeks applicants for a
one-year, limited-term/full-time position for the 2011-2012 academic
year. The primary responsibility will be teaching multiple sections of
algebra-based General Physics I in the fall and General Physics II in
the spring. Secondary responsibilities may include advising science
education majors as a Teacher-in-Residence and implementing other
PhysTEC key components.
An M.S. or Ph.D. in Physics or a related field is required for
consideration. Previous experience teaching science in high schools is
preferred but not required.
