Science Editor at American Institutes for Research
The American Institutes for Research (AIR) is a leading research organization specializing in all aspects of education and other social policy issues as well as workforce research and analysis. Our programs aim to improve the quality of education and the workplace for all people by evaluating the effectiveness of education initiatives, conducting basic education and workforce research, and furnishing technical assistance and training at national, state, and local levels. We are currently seeking a Science Editor - Physics to join our team. This position is part-time working approximately 20 hours per week. Responsibilities: The test editor will write, review, and edit college-level physics test items as well as evaluate and revise test specifications. Qualifications: Requires PhD in Physics, excellent writing skills, and teaching experience of undergraduate physics. Test development experience desirable.
