The Department of Physics at South Dakota State University invites applications for a one-year sabbatical replacement position at the instructor level beginning August 2012. The position is contingent upon funding. Minimum qualifications are an M.S. in Physics and to have demonstrated a strong commitment to teaching Physics at the introductory level. A background in Physics Education Research and/or a Ph.D. in Physics is preferred and will allow the candidate to oversee both lectures and laboratories for the calculus-based introductory physics sequence.
