The Physics Department at Clark University (Worcester, Massachusetts) has a one-year, part-time, non-tenure track position available for a Physics Instructor starting August 2011. The instructor will be expected to teach the undergraduate non-Calculus Introductory Physics course to approximately 65 students in both the Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 semesters.
The ideal candidate will have a doctoral degree in Physics or a closely related field and a strong interest in teaching. Consideration will be also given to candidates with a master's degree who have experience teaching a similar course. Previous teaching experience is desirable.
Clark University is located in central Massachusetts near many other excellent educational and research institutions.
