VAP at Macalester College MN

The Macalester College Department of Physics and Astronomy invites applications for an anticipated one-year full-time visiting assistant professor position to begin in the fall, 2014. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in physics or a related field. The successful candidate will teach introductory and advanced undergraduate level physics courses. The teaching load is the equivalent of five courses per year. The Department of Physics and Astronomy has five full time faculty members with research interests in theoretical particle physics, observational astronomy, condensed matter physics, and materials science.
