VAP at Wabash College IN
WABASH COLLEGE PHYSICS Applications are invited for a three-year
visiting position at the assistant professor level beginning July 1,
2014. Candidates should be committed to excellent and innovative
teaching, able to teach a wide range of undergraduate courses, and eager
to work in a department that values close interaction with faculty and
students. An experimentalist or computational physicist who can readily
contribute to an advanced lab course and involve undergraduate students
in research is most desired. Interest in teaching introductory
astronomy is desired but not required. Candidates should have a Ph.D.
in physics or a related discipline. A Tier-1 liberal arts college,
Wabash offers a competitive salary and support for faculty development.
