GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In this challenging role, you will support the Physical Sciences department. Duties may include any or all of the following:
Teach lectures and laboratories in Physics
Prepare lectures, syllabi and tests
Grade and assess student work
Develop and implement new classroom strategies
Consult with students and advise on academic progress
Maintain competence through continuous professional development
Perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in Physics or Master’s degree in a related field with 18 graduate semester hours in Physics.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Have the ability to work with colleagues/students and to convey knowledge in a form that students can understand. Adaptable to students’ needs, to different teaching situations, and be able to motivate students. Able to work in teams and independently. Previous teaching experience.
