Job SummaryThe Department of Physics/Geosciences has an opening for a Full-Time Adjunct Faculty in Physics for the 2015-2016 academic year (9-month appointment).  
Job Responsibilities1. The position's responsibilities will consist of supervising course laboratories and lecturing physics courses.

2. Lab instruction/supervision up to 9 hours and lecture up to 4 classes.  
Minimum QualificationsCandidates must have MS in physics or a related field from a regionally accredited institution or university.



Must have good communication skills in the English language.

Candidates must have 18 graduate credit hours for every field in which they teach.  
Preferred QualificationsExperience in teaching lower-level physics courses is preferred.

Experience in teaching physics labs is preferred.

PhD in Physics from a regionally accredited institution or university. Experience in teaching upper level physics courses/labs. Experience in supervising labs.

TAMUK is a comprehensive university located about 45 miles southwest of Corpus Christi, Texas. The department includes ten full-time faculty, and graduates about fifteen majors per year.
