Instructor at Florida International University


The Department of Physics at Florida International University invites applications for a position of Instructor of Physics Education to begin fall of 2012. A Master’s in Physics or Physics or Science Education or extensive teaching experience at the secondary and college level is required. Candidates should have experience teaching introductory physics courses and have excellent teaching, organizational, and supervisory skills.  The successful candidate will assist faculty in teaching reformed introductory physics classes, conduct professional development workshops with high school science teachers, and assist in the recruitment and preparation undergraduate pre-service science teaching candidates.
