Teaching Assistant at Qatar University
The Mathematics, Statistics & Physics Department is seeking a candidate for faculty position in Physics at the level of a Teaching Assistant. The position is available beginning September 2012.

Position Term: Three Years Renewable
Duties and responsibilities:
Set up and run lab sessions;
Assist in maintaining lab safety;
Set up lecture demonstrations;
Assist in various other tasks related to the development of the Department.
Competencies:
Bring innovation to instruction;
Demonstrate the ability to grade students' assignments, as well as evaluate homework
and lab reports;
Hold regular office hours.
Qualifications:
Masters degree from an accredited University in the above fields;
Teaching experience of at least three years at the university level;
Good written and oral English skills.

Provide an outline of the courses you have taught in your discipline and the frequency of teaching these courses;
