TT at the University of Dayton

The Physics Department at the University of Dayton is seeking applications for a tenure track faculty position at the assistant professor level to begin on the 16th of August 2013. A Ph.D. in physics or applied physics is required. Applicants must be experimentalists, committed to quality teaching in a liberal arts environment, and capable of establishing their own research program. The successful applicant should have demonstrated interest in teaching students from different racial, ethnic, gender, and class backgrounds and should appreciate Catholic Marianist values. Duties include teaching all levels of undergraduate physics, teaching and developing advanced laboratory courses for undergraduate students, and be active in his/her research.
