The Department of Physics at Central Washington University invites
applications to fill current and future full-time, part-time,
quarterly, and annual appointment lecturer positions. Successful
candidates are expected to teach physics courses at all levels.
Full-time hires will be expected to mentor undergraduate research
projects and to engage in department/university service.
An
M.S. degree (or ABD for Ph.D.) in physics or a closely related field and
some teaching experience at the undergraduate level are required. The
physics department at CWU is fully committed to employing active
learning approaches to all levels of undergraduate courses; experience
with this method of instruction is preferred.

professional references; (d) copies of transcripts for the highest
degree held; (e) a one-page statement of research interests that
includes how undergraduates are to be involved; (f) a one-page statement
