NTT Math/Physics, Spalding University KY

Position Description:

The Assistant Professor of Physics will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in physics (majors and non-majors) and mathematics.  This is a non-tenure track position that will report to the Chair of the School of Natural Science.  

 Position Qualifications:

 Ph.D. in Physics.
 At least 18 graduate credit hours in Mathematics.
 General Qualifications:

Knowledge of best practices in physics education.
 Experience as an effective leader and educator in establishing goals, developing plans, making decisions and following through with directions to meet established outcomes. Function also as a collaborative team member and actively support the overall mission and goals of the University.
Must have excellent written and interpersonal communications skills with students, staff and faculty. To read, write and converse clearly in English is required.
Demonstration of innovative physics/mathematical instruction strategies.
