The School of Education of TCNJ seeks candidates for a tenure-track position, assistant professor rank preferred. The successful candidate will have an expertise in the preparation of exemplary science teachers in secondary education settings, with a preference given to candidates with expertise in the physical sciences. Responsibilities will include, teaching science methods courses, supervision of field experiences, and advising and mentoring students. It is expected that the candidate will be open and willing and able to collaborate with faculty in the School of Education and the School of Science.
Applicants must have an earned doctorate in science education or a closely related field (A.B.D. will be considered if the candidate demonstrates evidence of advanced progress on and a clear plan for timely completion of the dissertation), appropriate teaching experience in P-12 schools, a well-developed program of research, and demonstrated skills in working collaboratively with colleagues in various disciplines.

Located in suburban Ewing Township, NJ, the College enrolls approximately 5,800 undergraduate and 900 graduate students.
