The University of East London is a dynamic and rapidly expanding University in the heart of Europe's largest regeneration area and immediately adjacent to the site of the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics.
As a highly successful provider of teacher training, early years and education services in East London, and beyond, the School has experienced rapid expansion and now has more than 2,300 students.
We are seeking a Reader in Education who will help us to realise our ambitious vision for the future. The person appointed will play a key role in contributing to research development in the school.
With a PhD, you will be an outstanding researcher with a strong record of research and publications including a proven ability to attract research funding, and will be committed to excellence in research, teaching and supervision. You will have sustained experience in doctoral supervision, and will make a major contribution to the professional doctorate in education, as well as undertaking some Masters degree teaching.
