Stonehill College is a liberal arts college of 2,350 students near Boston.
The applicant for this position should be a physicist with a strong interest in teaching, a record of published research and a clear ongoing program of research. Ph.D. is required by the start of the contract period. The applicant may be a specialist in any field of physics. The teaching load for a physics professor at Stonehill includes three undergraduate courses a semester, for a total of six courses per year, plus the supervision of physics majors and pre-engineering students.
