Assistant Professor of Physics, Shepherd University. Full-time, tenure-track; to start August 2009. Teach intro courses, labs, and service courses in physics and physical sciences. Possible opportunity to teach advanced and specialized courses. Ph.D. in any field of physics required by end of first academic year. Must have a demonstrated commitment to the undergraduate liberal arts academic setting, demonstrate enthusiasm and potential for excellence in teaching undergraduate physics, and be a dynamic individual who can interact closely with students, engage in research, and participate in community outreach.
