The University of Southern Indiana invites applications to fill a tenure-track position in Physics at the Assistant Professor rank to begin fall 2009. The successful candidate will be committed to undergraduate teaching excellence and will be expected to teach introductory physics courses for science and non-science majors, as well as upper-division courses based on qualifications. A Ph.D. in physics, astronomy, or astrophysics will be preferred, exceptional ABD applicants will be considered.
