TT at Murray State University

Assistant Professor – Engineering and Physics, Department of Engineering and Physics, Murray State University. Full-time, tenure track position to begin August 2011. Applicant is expected to teach courses in undergraduate general physics and engineering physics, establish a productive research program; manage undergraduate general physics laboratories; participate in curriculum development; perform professional service.

Ph.D. required in physics. ABD’s with a documented plan of completion by appointment date will be considered. Applicants should have research interests in physics fitting to a regional undergraduate university; have desire to involve undergraduates in research projects and ability to contribute to design activities appropriate for an EAC/ABET-accredited engineering physics program.
