TT at US Naval Academy
We are currently looking to fill a tenure-track position at the assistant-professor level. The United States Naval Academy offers a unique program that creates for faculty an attractive balance between teaching and research. Class sizes are small (no more than 24 students to a section) with a typical teaching load of two sections per semester. The physics department contains many faculty with a wide range of teaching and research interests. We typically graduate over thirty majors each year in one of three tracks: the standard physics track, the astrophysics track, and the applied physics track. If you have a passion for teaching but also want to enjoy a rigorous and supportive research environment, the USNA Physics Department may be an ideal place for you.
