Assistant Professorship at Florida State University

Florida State College at Jacksonville seeks a highly creative full-time faculty member. The selected candidate will Develop and distribute to students a course syllabus for each class taught based upon the official course outline for the course; Teach each course assigned in accordance with the College approved course description and course outlines; Present course content to students and guides student discussion and course work-study; and Direct and assist students in laboratory, studio, field, clinic, or other experimental learning activities appropriate to the course, discipline and field.

Employer will assist with relocation costs. Additional Salary Information: Salary is determined by highest related degree earned and is based on a 180 Day Contract period. At a minimum the selected candidate will have a Master's degree from an accredited institution with a graduate major concentration in Physics (minimum of eighteen (18) graduate semester hours). The preferred candidate will have a Doctorate degree and two (2) years of college level teaching experience.
