The Department of Physics, Faculty of Science invites applications for several faculty positions to being in September 2011. The positions are available at the ranks of Assistant, Associate of Full Professor. Visiting Professor appointments for one year are also available. The areas of specializations being actively sought include:
Engineering Physics in phototonics of optoelectronics, Environmental Physics-Remote Sensing, Radiation & Medical Physics, Theoretical Astrophysics, Outstanding applicants from other areas in physics will also be considered.
The required qualifications include: Ph.D. from reputable university, one year of university teaching experience, research experience & significant publication record in international journals, excellent command of the English language, Bachelor’s GPA min of 3.0 on 4 point scale.
