The Department of Physics & Astronomy at Rowan University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in the area of experimental biophysics or biomedical physics. We seek outstanding candidates who will be able to contribute to the development of our department’s biophysics program while interacting with our established research programs in materials science and optical science. The successful candidate will have the opportunity for collaborative and interdisciplinary projects with other departments in the sciences, engineering and the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. We seek candidates who are interested in teaching physics at all levels and developing new interdisciplinary curricula and programs in biophysics. Successful candidates are expected tohave a strong record of post-doctoral research and be able to successfully compete for external funding.
