Marketing Manager – NY
DUTIES:
Manage all marketing efforts to promote various products and services into the institutional/library market/channel. Work closely with sales team and publishers to develop marketing and sales strategies and programs for our products. Design marketing efforts to increase revenue, drive sales, and drive usage through retention/renewals, upsell, cross sell, development of new customers and new products. Regularly review and analyze AIP subscriptions/sales/usage data as applicable, determine trends, and provide detailed reports, analyses, and recommendations for management review. Participate in exhibit strategy, especially as it pertains to library designated products, services, and channels.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree required. Five years experience as a marketing manager in a publishing environment (sci/tech preferred), or equivalent. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers at all levels. Strong written communication skills. Experience writing and editing copy for internal and external reports and promotions. Excellent knowledge of Excel and report design for use in providing data analysis. Strong understanding of database design, as well as CRM and data warehouse implementation and use. Strong attention to detail and ability to plan and follow through with clients to ensure satisfaction. Experience with electronic products and licensing preferred.
