TT at Cottey College

Cottey College, a private liberal arts college for women, invites applications for a full-time, tenure track, assistant/associate professor, beginning August 2013.  The College is seeking an individual who is committed to teaching excellence in an undergraduate liberal arts institution.  A doctorate in physics (ABD considered) is required and college teaching experience is preferred.  Teaching responsibilities include a two-semester general physics sequence (lecture and lab) and general education courses such as Introductory Physics, Introductory Astronomy and/or College Algebra.  Additional responsibilities include advising, college service and professional development.  Further information about Cottey is available at http://www.cottey.edu.  Review of applications begins December 5, 2012 and continues until the position is filled.  Send cover letter, curriculum vitae, copies of transcripts and contact information for three references to Dr. Cathryn Pridal, VPAA, Cottey College, 1000 W.
